Taking place from Monday 7th September until Sunday 13th September, Dublin Fashion Festival will see over 200 retailers, restaurants, bars and hotels taking part in one of the city centre’s liveliest events. Following in the footsteps of Irish stars such as Laura Whitmore, Angela Scanlon and Amanda Byram, as face of the festival Pippa will officially launch this year’s event, as well as hosting a live fashion show on Friday 11th September, 2015.
Speaking of her involvement in the festival, Pippa commented: “I’m delighted to be working with DublinTown on this year’s Dublin Fashion Festival. Being the face of the Festival is an honour and is something I wanted to do for couple of years now, I’m so excited to have been asked and to be a part of Dublin Fashion Festival 2015. I have always championed Irish style and I love the charm and energy of Dublin fashion. Nothing compares to shopping in the capital there’s always something different to see and experience so I’m really looking forward to what the festival has in store, I’ve no doubt that it will be a fantastic week”.
Adding to this, Clyde Carroll, Director of Marketing & Communications for DublinTown said: “As one of Ireland’s leading fashion personalities, Pippa is the perfect person to launch and take part in this year’s Dublin Fashion Festival. There is so much to celebrate this year that we have extended the festival to a full week to showcase in full effect what makes shopping and socialising in Dublin city centre so special. We know that as a successful blogger and style queen, Pippa is the right choice to highlight the cosmopolitan city of Dublin, from the big high street retailers to the vintage boutiques in hidden corners of the city centre. Dublin Fashion Festival celebrates all that is fashion and we are looking forward to an exciting event this evening.”
Putting a sense of fun and theatre back into shopping and socializing in the capital, Dublin Fashion Festival celebrates all things fashion. This year, the best of the city’s fashion retailers are on hand to host on-street fashion shows on Grafton Street and Henry Street, night-time extravaganzas, exciting in-store events, exhibitions, stylathons, and much, much more. The crème de la crème of young designers from across Ireland will also have the chance to showcase their vision for fashion, and compete for the coveted title of Young Designer of the Year in one of Ireland’s largest fashion events. Showcasing the best in Irish design and high street labels, Dublin Fashion Festival will turn sidewalks into catwalks again this September to get the people of Dublin out to enjoy shopping in the centre whether it’s a spree in Oasis, a jaunt around the Creative Quarter or a high street haul on Henry Street.
