Taylor Swift was named as the youngest woman ever to be included Forbes ‘100 Most Powerful Women’ list for the first time. In keeping with the theme of this, the 25-year-old singer appears on the cover of the upcoming November issue of GQ magazine.
Her debut on the front cover leaves an unforgettable impression as the singer poses in a clinging light brown number over a black bikini. She leans seductively against a white pole with her arms tucked behind showing off her svelte figure. Her signature blonde locks were worn tussled and her makeup was natural which complemented the whole look.
The stunning cover shots were taken by photographer Micheal Thommpson and the article was written by Chuck Klosterman. He wrote about her power and influence: ‘If you don’t take Swift seriously, you don’t take contemporary music seriously. There’s simply no antecedent for this kind of career: a cross-genre, youth-oriented, critically acclaimed colossus based entirely on the intuitive songwriting merits of a single female artist. It’s as if mid-period Garth Brooks was also early Liz Phair, minus the hat and the swearing. As a phenomenon, it’s absolutely new.’
